- CD Traveler users beware! To be able to use your CD Traveler through Parallel interface, your CD Traveler's top name plate needs to have "PCMCIA/PARALLEL" sign , or your drive's original S/N the 6th digit must be "F". or the manufactured date is after September 1998. - The CD Station CD-2421 or higher speed which has a power switch at the back panel will be supported by this Parallel kit
- CD Station CD-4021 supported
- CD Traveler 3220 (CD-3220) supported
- DVD Station and DVD Traveler are also supported, but not recommended - too slow to play DVD movies
- This Parallel kit supports the ThinCD series with 25pin connector
- This Parallel kit supports the Portable CD-RWs with 25pin connector

- HD Traveler Plus using different cable(DB25 female-to-male)
- There is no pass-through function on this kit
